I gave it a try and my god it burns but its well worth it. I can tell its gonna sculpt my legs back into separation!
I also did a little pre-emptive measurement recap and have discovered that i have lost 3 inches all over including 1 inch off my hips!!
Mari promises after just two weeks with her systems that you will lose 10 inches all over. I am starting to become a believer!! I love my new work outs.
Hello World
Well this is my second blog. My first one I used as a tool to help me quit the smokes next thing you know I'm over 2 years smoke free!!
I really need to loose weight so I thought I might use the same method and see how we go.
One of the downsides of quiting the smokes is that I gained a fair few pounds. I joined a gym about a year ago and went hard at the cardio and weight training but didnt manage to lose much weight at all or change shape. My mother thought I might have a thyroid problem but I have read about people who had the same problem which was rectified with pilates.
Last month I moved houses and amongst all the stuff I have accumulated I found a couple of Mari Winsor DVDs and a pilates circle I purchased years ago but never really gave it a go.
Once I was all settled in my new home I decided "feck it" lets give this Mari Winsor a go. So I cracked open the first DVD - Circle Pilates Body Sculpting for beginners. It was a short 30 minute work out was suprisingly easy and Mari Winsor have a lovely approach. Well when I say easy, it was nice that I was able to follow each step but you do need to work at it to get the moves rights and get those muscles working .... but I liked it alot!
Next I tried the Winsor Fat Burning Programme which comes as a 2 disc set. I tried the 50 minute fat burning work out which is an aerobic / cardio routine which is actually kind of fun.
So I am only half way through my first week, I started on Saturday. I have done the following:
Saturday: Circle Pilates for beginners
Fat Burner workout
Monday: Circle Pilates for beginners
Fat Burner workout
Tuesday: Circle Pilates for beginners
Fat Burner workout
Wednesday: Circle Pilates for beginners
Fat Burner workout
According to a little app I have for my android phone, I have burnt over 4000 calories just doing that. It would have taken me 7 days of busting my ass for 3 hours a day to achieve that with my old routines! Impressed?? I know I am!
I can feel myself getting more flexible and my muscles starting to tighten up especially in my bum and thigh areas.
I am going to post my measurements here and then once I have completed my forst 10 work outs I will post my updated measurements.
But in the mean time I will just be rambling on about me, Mari and life in general.
